# Basic admin

> Workspace and collaboration administration for team leads and coordinators.

Welcome to *Basic admin*, a foundational, non-technical course for team leads, operations managers, and workspace coordinators. You'll learn how to configure a secure, structured, and collaborative environment: onboard team members, structure workspaces, organize user groups, and manage opt-in features.

Tasks in these topics require the [workspace manager role](/admin/roles/) or, for some tasks, the [admin role](/admin/roles/).

## Who should attend

* **Workspace coordinators and team leads** -- Manage local project environments.

* **Operations managers** -- Handle user onboarding, team access, and platform enablement.

* **Enterprise IT admins and platform owners** -- Establish foundational platform knowledge for administering AI Hub.

## Learning objectives

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

1. Manage user lifecycles by adding and removing members, updating roles, and organizing groups.

2. Configure workspaces to enable collaboration and separation of work.

3. Govern global organization parameters, including enabling opt-in features.
