# Managing groups

> Create, rename, and delete groups, and manage group membership.

Create groups for permission-based access across workspaces, then manage membership and group settings.

## Creating groups

Use groups when you want to grant the same workspace access to many users at once. Create them from the **Groups** tab in organization settings.

## Renaming and deleting groups

Rename a group when its purpose changes, or delete it when the team no longer needs that access pattern. Deleting a group rescinds any workspace access granted through membership of that group.
