Course introduction

This video introduces the App editor and standard apps course and outlines the developer learning path on the Instabase platform.

In some course content, you might see or hear AI Hub Build when referring to the app editor. These terms mean the same thing and reflect past versions of the AI Hub user interface. Similarly, Build projects and Build apps are synonymous with the projects and apps created with the app editor.

The platform accommodates two types of developers:

  • Flow editor and advanced apps — Designed for those seeking more complex workflow capabilities or wishing to leverage custom user-defined functions using Python.

  • Extraction techniques — Table extraction, list extraction, derived fields, custom functions, cleaning functions, checkbox extraction, and prompting best practices.

  • Enhancements — Configuring validations, project settings, and case management.

  • Deployment — Creating the final app, managing deployments, utilizing deployment integrations, and using AI Hub APIs.
